New to the Group

Hi All... I'm new to the group and wanted to share an image and a comment. I enjoy shooting "bugs" and always wondered why anyone should care? Recently, I've become active in the pollinator community and am finding that images of pollinators are very helpful for everyone from educators to policy makers to scientists in helping them tell their stories and create awareness.

Who else has discovered a usefulness for images that they never thought would be the case? I'd like to know...

Welcome to the group, Michael.
I haven't found a good use beyond my enjoyment of making the photograph. I have taken many photographs of bees and gnats pollinating flowers. Here is a photograph of a similar fly.
