Hi guys! I am a brand new beauty photographer and am beginning my journey with a one light setup that includes an Alien Bee B400 (or B800?) strobe, with a beauty dish and honeycomb grid. That being said, I am having trouble deciding on whether it'd be more beneficial to go with a white or silver coated dish? I can't find any information only that explains the differences in a concise manner, so any help or even photo examples would be appreciated. Thank you!

I have an old AB beauty dish I bought used that has been painted white. It works well for a softer transitional line form light to shadow. I also have the high output Silver Beauty Dish from AB. I use it mroe often and often with the grid. It offers much more contrast.
