I have a ton of really killer images that I shot in the process of making my last exhibition, “Kanso”. Instead of just letting them reside in the darkness, never to see the light of day, I decided to get with Patreon and take a chance on starting something new and exciting!
Patreon is a website whose goal is to “help every creator in the world achieve sustainable income”. Creators create content and patrons pay those creators to enjoy the content. It’s a novel idea in a world where artists are increasingly expected to give their work away for free or in exchange for the highly sought after exposure.
With Kanso, I am asking for the exorbitant sum of $1.00 per month in exchange for access to a new set of images from the series that will be posted once per month starting in February. I am also offering a Print of the Month Club at three different levels that will earn you a new print every month, selected, printed, signed and shipped to your door by me.
The dream with this project would be for me to gather enough support from patrons to be able to travel and continue shooting the series, eventually upping the frequency of posted new content.
