Why do we photograph?
Some people do it for glamour, for some its money, some find it more of a passion and for some, it's all about opening up one's private space. I belong to the last group of people who love photographing human body, emotions in its naked form. 'BARE' is a self-portrait series of mine dealing with own vulnerability and courage at the same time to shot something which is still considered as a taboo in my society. the pictures have been shot in my living room only where I feel a strong connection. connection with the floor, the wall, the curtains, in fact, everything inside my room and the natural light through the window.

To take self portraits of one self , intended nudes , is a lesson in accepting your faults and been Ok with your body. I become extremely critical of myself when doing shoots like this , but i have started to just let it be , I am what i am. Most people cannot even look at their own bodies , , but every shoot i do , i practice and experiment , I hide parts that are not flattering , and try different postures and crops.. Its a great learn tool for me , and i find the whole process almost like a meditative flow.. I will see if i can post a few of my stuff here to shadow your post
