We shot this in my studio straight after a water workshop session.
I made a timber frame and I lined the wall and floor with black plastic and then filled the very shallow pool with about 30mm of water.
I setup a 1.2m octagonal softbox on a large boom directly above her and then had my assistant spray her with a hose to get the rain effect.
Lucky for us we were in the Summer season and it turned out to be about 37°c on the day.
Good pose, good light, super image...
Nice image...but I'm confused. If the octagonal was above her, how did the water become even across her body...one would surmise the softbox would have acted as an umbrella and blocked the water.
The soft box was fairly high and there was a bit of cloning involved to even out the rain and some extra rain added.
The reflection was added from another image I took at the same session as the water splashes destroyed that look and it needed the reflection to break up the 'blackness'
nicely done
Thanks
Nice image, lighting is great
Thank you
