HiJakob, for me your subject is shaded because of the sun's position in your shot. I would have positioned myself the other side of her, or moved her to one side - it feels like you missed out on your biggest source of light , which is a pity given your model and location. In short, right setting and model but wrong position in my opinion.

I think a little more exposure would make a world of difference in this shot

A half stop to a full stop wouldn't make that much difference but would lighten the back side of the model, the whole image is on the dark side.....
