Painted Ladies

I've come up with this style a couple of years ago. Doing the paint myself, I wonder if the pictures would look even more impressive with a professional MUA. Being poor (XD) I'm using regular acrylic and gouache paint on these ladies.

All done in front of a black dackdrop with a single artificial light source.

I cringe a bit at your description just because I've heard horror stories of models who had their skin stained by photographers just using whatever non-toxic paint they put their hands on. Not being able to do their job for days because their skin is blue is not a way to treat your models. And that's not even getting into the paint near their eyes.

That said, I love the effect you've gotten, and I'm sure you took all the precautions you could.

Oh wow! I can’t imagine how bad it would be not to be able to remove it after one shower... but i always do test on myself before so no worries ☺️

Oh that's good. I have a friend who does wonderful stuff with UV glow paint, if you haven't tried that yet. :)

Oh yeahh that could be interesting! Got to find a place to rent the blaklight tho :o should be easy 😋

He uses a cheap fluorescent tube model from Spencers or similar, if that helps.

Wow - what a look. Stunning! The last one is a 6 star in a 5 star rating - would put it on my wall and worship it every day!

Awww haha how sweet of you ☺️ Thanks alot! It is on my wall indeed haha

We love them all. Had to be fun for all when said and done.

Hello Michaelle, always a good thing if ppl step out of the box. I think your pictures are really good and I can enjoy them. Keep up your great work.

oh thank you very much! Can't wait to produce more!

I did a whole series..slightly similar... using kids finger paint.. it comes off easily in the shower (the red slightly less so)..I do really like you coating the models white first..ala blank canvas..makes really striking images
