I would be carefull with saturated colors, I can't give you a good guidelines as i'm still looking to improve in this area, yet simply increasing saturation doesn't solve problem of missing colors. It's more an outcome of a good quality light. Apart from this, shadows apre pretty much dark on your photo, if this wasn't intended I would advice to calibrate your monitor.
Overall nice composition, emotion in place, well done, and good luck in your learning curve.
