Would welcome some Critique

Hi everyone, I have only been making photographs for the past 9 months and have come to really appreciate street photography as a genre.

Any constructive critique would be greatly welcomed

Thanks

Just saw these. I think you've got some great shots here. I especially like the last one with the passersby looking a lot like the wall painting! Also - just to mention...this group with over 600 members is probably the most stuck-up group on Fstoppers. They seem to rarely comment on submitted work, so don't fret if there is silence on your work. In fact, there are better sites to post this type of work on where you'll get more feedback. I don't bother posting anything here for critique anymore. Anyway - nice job!

1- not strong, lower angle include more of the people, what is the story?
2- good
3- no story
4 good, 4 people with expressions-

You've got some good examples of street photography in these.
In the 1st, my eyes are immediately drawn to the buildings and the decorative lighting. I love the determined expression on the woman with the umbrella in the foreground. The angle you shot from gives an interesting perspective to the scene. The snow fall and the 2 men on the street car tell create an interesting story. The background is a tiny bit blown out for my taste, but it does help draw your attention to the foreground scene. The 3rd image is the one that really stands out for me. You've caught this gentleman looking directly at you, pausing his smoking, while he, perhaps, is pondering why you're taking his photograph. He looks a bit menacing, as if he doesn't approve of you invading his street. It's a perfect shot. It reminds me of the style of Vivian Maier or perhaps, Gary Winogrand. The 4th and final shot is a wonderful composition. I love the juxtaposition of the people walking and the advertising.
