I agree with Tom. Nice shot, good lighting, good use of the smoke. Cropping a little higher and using a landscape format just below the shoulder line, or widen your shot to keep his arms in would, in my opinion, make a stronger shot. The dramatic effect of the lighting is great.
I like the mood of the image, but the crop on the sides make it look strange. Either have him all in, or crop tighter.
