I love the concept but the subject is a little tough to pick out of the busy image. If she stood out more of if the image was a blurred around the edges, it might lead your eye to the subject. I'd play with highlights and shadows to get the viewer to see what you want them to see....
I agree with David on subject being lost, but I believe it would have more focus if you had some more space underneath. Also some play with shadow highlights around the subject.
