SAINT LAZELL's picture

Thinking 'Bout You

Currently My Favorite Picture.

I love the vintage feel, so that's why there's some noise, scratches, specs, and slightly faded blacks.

I really want an opinion about the blue veins in her chest? Do I edit those out or leave them in?

Any and all critique is welcomed

Blue veins! You raise an interesting question... Maybe even philosophical.

In a lot of photography, images are retouched to the point they no longer capture the true essence, but rather an ideal.

If the ideal is what you (generic you... Not you in particular) are going for the ideal then post process until you are happy. If you want to show the real person/landscape/whatever, capture the best image you can and leave it alone.

Then also there's the debate of glorifying somebody's "ideal" rather than saying "this is who I am and I am beautiful".

I like the image as is. The model is beautiful and the capture is very good! Love the mood.

To me it are the colors that make the mood, nice!

really nice image. love the lighting amd feel of it.

Really love the feel of this one. My eyes are automatically going to the the veins now, but I wonder how distracting they would really be if you had not brought them to our attention.
