Just wanted to briefly introduce myself to the community. I'm a part time photographer and working full time in the service industry.
Thought I'd share an image from a recent model shoot in the studio. After discussing concepts with the model and learning more about her personality, we decided on Sublime Darkness. Meaning of great beauty, wickedness and evil. This was a great play on her personality.

This is probably one of my fave images of yours. I like the highlight on the wall as it really needs it to make that big-ass hat stand out against the dark wall.

Yeah I agree there is just enough light fall off to provide background separation and we wanted to keep the lighting on the dark side. When I was discussing the shoot and asked if the girls had a big hat and then on the day the model rocks up with this, I was blown away.
