Sterling in silhouette
I held a lighting workshop recently. Sterling was the model. I rarely shoot silhouettes but I wanted to incorporate that arch into a shot. Backlighting became an obvious choice.

Welcome Ernie. Like your last photo best, but too much light painting on the tree. Perhaps tone the light down in photoshop going to adjustment layer and selecting color, yellow, desaturation a little and lowering intensity. Then you'll have a winner.
