Orion

Just a quick shot of Orion, surprised I got some of the red mollecular hydrogen alpha cloud to show up with just a few 3 minute exposures.

pretty cool... can you get more clarity by bumping the contrast?

I'm sure I could work on it a bunch and make it a little better, but it is only 27 minutes worth of subs. I would like to get like 2-3 hours worth of subs to really produce something good! Have an adapter arriving soon that will let me mount my astronomical CCD camera to my canon lenses. Game changer!

Joe, if you want to play with the data I can share the raw files via dropbox.

I don't know if I have Dropbox I'll let you know
