I really enjoy creating something different with drones. I've had the Mavic now for about four weeks and I absolutely love it.

Mixing Film and Night - New for Me
Here are a couple long exposure shots using my original 50 year old Minolta SR-T201 and kit lens shooting Fujifilm Neopan Acros 100 II. Both images were taken just at the end of blue hour.

nicely done
Nice concept. I've seen it done a few times, and only a few, because it's hard to do. If you have the time and patience, you may try 3 exposures next time. Sky/land, light wand, and model. Then combine all in post.
Thank you so much. Sounds great, I will try that in rhe next shoot.😃😃
Can you describe the technique used to get the "starburst" pattern? The light coming through the sheer fabric adds an extra dimension to the photograph.I would have liked to see how the shot looked with more of the model in the frame, i.e., closer in the foreground.
I used a light tube painting technique. It was made popular by Eric Pare. You can find all the details on aboutthetubes.com
I don't have a closer pic like you said. 😊
Love the shot. Very well executed - Milky Way isn't too over processed, and the subject is interesting and well posed (even if these shots are a bit trendy and overused at the moment).
My only minor criticism would be that the stars in the reflection are out of focus and a bit distracting. I'm still new to editing and compositing, so not sure how difficult this would be - is there a way to brush in the Milky Way frame just in the reflection of the sky/stars without interfering with the reflection of the model? I'm assuming the Milky Way exposure would have that area in focus.
Thank you so much for the words.
The stars in reflection can be made look sharp in post(copy the top stars and replace the reflection), which would look un-real. So I don't do that 😀😀😀
Beautiful
