California Milky Way.
California does get some extremely dark skies which most people can't believe. Mono County is a great location to capture some really dark skies, plus tons of amazing landscapes for the widefield astrophotographer.

Sterling in silhouette
I held a lighting workshop recently. Sterling was the model. I rarely shoot silhouettes but I wanted to incorporate that arch into a shot. Backlighting became an obvious choice.

love bonsai rock and love your milky way shot of it. I also have one i took there, such a beautiful spot
I really like the second one.
Love the first one best with wonderful coloring, bold shapes and textures. The extra lighting properly placed really made the shot.
