Blood Moon

Very bad night to shoot the super moon in Kern County. Brief moments of clarity between overcast sky's.

Pretty dramatic photo. Clarity isn't everything.

I had about 30 minutes of eclipse before clouds blew in and provided their own much less interesting eclipse.

Nice image. Were you up by Lake Isabella? The snag makes me think of there, but I guess one can find bare trees everywhere in January.

I am a Kern Valley Bronc grad of 1977. I still go up there and shoot a couple times a month. Still feels like home but lost it all in the Erskine fire.

Wow, is that ever different. I love it. Great photo

Looks like it was a perfect night to shoot the moon
