I held a lighting workshop recently. Sterling was the model. I rarely shoot silhouettes but I wanted to incorporate that arch into a shot. Backlighting became an obvious choice.

Thanks Joseph! I look forward to seeing your work! The Milky Way is definitely difficult to catch sometimes. Just remember that if the moon sets early and isn’t up at night you can get some good pics as well.
My issue is the amount of light pollution all around me so I have to travel east coast sucks
