Survivors

Ancient Bristlecone Forrest. 11,300ft up in the White Mountains. The Patriarch Grove is the upper level grove above the Shulman. It is the darkest night sky i ever seen coupled with an endless array of compositions. The journey is very steep and the weather can be cruel at times. Pick your times well and it will reward you like no other.

How did you compose this? Any tracking and stacking? I tried to recently stack and track some imges of the milkyway through the trees but am having alot of issues with the foreground/trees.
