Jupiter & Milky Way Rising Over Superstition Mountain

I did my first night hike a few weeks ago to photograph the Milky Way over Superstition Mountain, which is about an hour east of Phoenix. I tried several different compositions, but this was the one that I liked the most. There was a fair amount of light pollution, but the Milky Way was still visible to the naked eye. 20-image stack shot at 24mm (f/1.4, ISO 1000, 8 seconds). Any feedback or suggestions are welcomed.

That is a perfect picture. Its just great in so many ways.

Thank you!

the only thing that I might have done if it was mine is straighten the cactus. they look a little like they want to fall over. otherwise it is a beautiful picture

I agree. I did have trouble trying to straighten the cacti and I was hesitant to crop & straighten, because I didn't want to lose the Milky Way. I'm not quite sure if it's from lens distortion or just setting up the composition quickly and not getting things perfectly level.

It looks like a good setup with lens distortion. My personal taste says it looks good

A very beautiful photo. Well done!

Do you have this for purchase? I want to get it printed.

I would like to purchase a copy of this .
Please advise.
