First post to the group - Lunar eclipse

Just sharing. It was amazing to finally get to see a total eclipse without clouds interfering. In the first image, my intention was to blend different frames of the moon's path (2nd photo), but I forgot about the feathering on the brush so I ended up with this revealing effect, which I kind of like.

Much appreciated Jeff! Certainly was a cool event to watch and capture.

what's the technique for capturing that? Simple multiple exposure technique? Did you mount the camera to a telescope mount to track the motion of the moon?

Austin, Texas Blue Hour

Was down in Austin for a bit on a work trip. I've always heard how beautiful the skyline is from the river.

Was a little let down by the clouds, but what can I do!

Any interest in this group?

Hi all, I was looking for such a group but see that although there are many members there hasn’t been a single post. Is there interest out there in getting this group going?
