Above the smog

Took this amazing shot of the galactic core after a month of wildfires and inversion in the Salt Lake Valley in Utah, a 3 hour trek up the mountains to the Franklin Basin gave way to AMAZINGLY clear skies with the inversion below giving some amazing glow.

This was taken on a A7RIV and 50GM.

Bald Eagle, Eagle Creek, Alaska

We were hiking in the rainforest of Southeast Alaska. Eagles were EVERYWHERE, though at a long distance, along this creek looking for salmon.

Falco Wyomingii

This little bird is a hybrid of a Peregrine Falcon, the fastest bird and the fastest animal in all of creation, and a Gyrfalcon.
