Northern lights of May 2024. A planned photograph of the milky way over the tiny church got "pimped" by the northern lights. First I was afraid the cam might be broken: the pink at the top left of the aurora borealis was not expected in the photograph as the cam was looking to the south east. It took some minutes to realize nature gifted me...

We were hiking in the rainforest of Southeast Alaska. Eagles were EVERYWHERE, though at a long distance, along this creek looking for salmon.
This little bird is a hybrid of a Peregrine Falcon, the fastest bird and the fastest animal in all of creation, and a Gyrfalcon.
