The wife has worked very hard with NASA and space-x launches and in order for her company to show their gratitude, they've given us 4 passes to an upcoming space-x launch in Sept. Mind you it's just the wife and I with 2 extra passes.
So I thought I'd send a few emails to a variety of people asking if they would like to attend this launch with us. People like Partick. Lee and Alex, (fstoppers) but I've not heard back from them. Sending more emails, I've asked David Freiburger (roadkill) and Mike Phillips (professional detailer) as well as Robert Rich and Holland Holmes (ambient Musicians).
Seems the main drawback is the space-x security clearance check as I would need those persons attending the launch with us, their names months in advance for this security check. otherwise they may not pass the check and not be allowed to enter the facility.
Last week as part of a list of those I thought I'd like to invite to this launch, I included Jack Fusco (a Sigma Ambassador) because I've noticed his night time shots from his portfolio. Yesterday morning, Jack emailed me back saying Sept is open for him, but will need to check a few things out before committing.
So to all those I emailed that didn't take me serious about inviting you to witness a launch of a space-x satellite in Sept.. I'm sorry you don't read your emails or you've avoided my emails.
