I took this over the summer while meandering around in NYC. It's definitely on the lighter side of B&W for me, but I like it a good deal. Just curious what there is to say about maybe the composition or lights and darks.

Awesome subject. I like that you caught him while he was actually painting the sign. It’s a little busy I think though. Lots of competing textures. This would’ve been cool from across the street maybe?

Very nice shot. I'm wondering if you should not crop the photo a little from the bottom. As Sam mentioned, it's a little busy. So I would have focused on the letters instead of a larger scene. Just my two cents. ;-)
This is all sweet to think about. I'll mess around with cropping up to maybe his waist line, or base of his shirt. Thank you!
