I'm currently a junior in high school and one of our AP2D assignments was low-key photography and I have these different variations of some photos I took in the studio. Out of all of them, the one with 3 different faces is my favorite as it provides different perspective while still including low key aspects, but I'd like your opinions too.
Good effort Ian. I like the top one the best.
Interesting. I'm not sure what the idea is, but I'd love for you to take it further.
Thanks for the response. Any ideas on how I could take it further?
Since it's your idea, unfortunately that's your hill to climb and I wouldn't pretend to be better. My comment was more from a standpoint that I didn't get a clear [enough] idea of what I was looking at or what effect it should have on me.
That being said, IF it were me, I would focus on teasing the light a little more around the contours of his face, and experimenting around placement, contrast and ratios until I got my thumbnails looking interesting enough to zoom into or click on.
Hope that helps and keep up the good work!
