In between chasing my granddaughter at the Audubon Zoo in New Orleans, I managed to get some shots. I know that 99.9% of us will never get to see a majestic animal like this in the wild, but I still frown when I see this beautiful creature in such a small area. Yes, they are very well cared for, but it's just not how it should be.

Well captured David. I agree it would be better to see them in the wild but Zoos who have conservation as part of their Mission Statement and are well run are very valuable.By the way good luck with chasing your grandaughter. I can't catch any of my grandkids even the 2 year old.
Thanks, Geoff! The folks at Audubon do a nice job with their critters. Not only is chasing grandkids tough, I really do poorly when they want to play on the floor. My old joints don't like to be on the floor. :-)
