I'm new in the group. The Boy on the pic is my son, i shot him in Hamburg on the stairways in a church, just with natural windowlight.
I'm an Amateur photographer wit a Passion für black and White. Feel free to comment, i appreciate any Kind of critic.

solid shot even more impressive that its your child considering none of mine will sit long enough for me to pull off a shot like this....getting into the photo, i like the intimate crop, the focus falloff is nice natural light is giving some nice shadows in the face and hair, detail in the face is retained even with the light areas ....well done id be proud of this shot
…. quite similar with my son, in any case you have to be fast, otherwise……

I think this shot is really beautiful, a great intimate portrait shot. The lighting, the expression and the balance of the black and white are all done so well.
