There's a lot of edge distraction imho. I would definitely eliminate that thin strip of rock on the top left-half of the image in photoshop and also the tiny black square on the bottom left. I love the composition though Vijay.
I like this image, Vijay - your best so far that I've seen!
I note the previous comments. I've tried Adam's suggestion, cropping, but the image actually loses something for me; the lit stones at the top form a sort of frame, and that small shadow bottom left acts like a punctuation mark. Both keep the eye (well, mine anyway) in the frame.
I attach a higher-key edit, perhaps more conventional with the "full range of tones", but the dark, brooding mood of yours has a special appeal for me, in keeping with your particular style..
thanking you again for investing your energy even more.
appreciating it.

I've read the comments about the dark tone of this image, but the problem for me is the obvious hard shadows that indicate direct sunlight. The harshness and angle of those shadows show this was shot at midday, and this tells me I should be seeing a lot more light on the top surfaces of the steps. I don't think they need to be pure white, but I would like to see this as maybe more of a graphical image, with very little gradation between the brights and darks. Now if you had a bright, white object sitting on the steps surrounded by the grays and blacks, THAT would be a powerful image.
No CC, just wanted to say that I really like it.
Appreciated.
Nice shot but would love to see it pushed even further towards high key.
Sure. will try even that. Thanks.

In all, can't improve it. Well done!
