This I shot at Reelfoot Lake in North West Tn. Camera was a Nikon D5200. I shot long exposure but I don't remember exactly what exposure it was. I always welcome creative feedback.
Hi Richie. I love the minimalist approach to this image (I'm a sucker for trees....). You have done a great job of using the fog to isolate the subjects and I love the depth that is conveyed in the image.
I think the exposure is good and your long exposure spot on to create a seamless backdrop.
I love the right two trees but have to say I find the one on the left distracting and not adding anything to the image. I would also have liked the camera to be pointed up - I see your goal of capturing reflections but I would have liked to see some breathing space above the foreground tree.
Overall I love the image in general but feel it would better suit my personal taste had you shot vertically. Here's a really rough crop just to use as a comparison.
I would agree with Alan, especially about the snipped top of the biggest tree. However, I happen to like the three trees on the right, but not the half-a-tree on the left edge. I would like that one cropped out completely and maybe dodge the distant tree on the left to make it nearly invisible. Exposure is excellent.

Thank you for all the kind words.
