Hi Jack! Interesting image. I like the idea of what I think you are going for. However, there are a couple of things that are not working for me. Because these are essentially silhouettes, the loss of the lower half of the left most person is confusing to my eye and it causes what could be a great 'three in a row' shot to be lost. The other issue is the lightening of the woman's face on the right. It is a cool idea but I don't think it works. All I think of is "where is this light coming from" when I look at it. This one just feels like a little bit of a missed opportunity for a really interesting trio of silhouettes. This is just my opinion! It is given with good intentions.
:)
Sorry to confuse your eye. It’s a style that I used for decades. Partial silhouette, or shadowed images, work very well. It forces the viewer to really look at the image. I recognize that this isn’t for everyone, but those who like it, seem to love it. To each, his own. No offense taken and I appreciate your feedback.
