Cool leaves, but there is some wicked banding in the background gradient. It's not compression artifacts; looks like you may have tweaked the gradient a little further than the bit depth would allow.
I like the concept, but the highlighted leaves in the upper and lower left kept pulling my eye away from the main subject. Additionally, the image overall, appears to be soft, but that might be due to the low-res image.
