Behind Bars

This past weekend I was in one of the old abandon places that I lurk around. There are bars on the windows. They look like there was a minimal effort to make them not look like bars on the windows but ... they are what they are.

The inside of the building is really dark and the outside really bright. I must have been thinking that this must match the psyche of the past inhabitants. So - here are my takes on this subject/theme.

I'd love feedback!

i really like the first one ruth the fade is nice the shape is good maybe a hint more contrast but thats it.. strong image

Hi Ruth, am Learning a lot through the shared visual treats.
THIRD FRAME: bottom curve could be complete and shown a bit more upwards perhaps. Bokeh is good enough to keep directing back to the rod in focus and yet give interesting background. The rod in focus could be a bit more sharp/clear.
FOURTH FRAME: For me, the curved elements could have been framed more toward right inside. grey patch at the extreme right could be eliminated. the highlights occupying half of frame could be holding some interest in same bokeh blurr.
thanks.
