Attempt Number 2

Another image from my test shoot with a model Last time I went dark mood - this time light. I would really like feedback. I'm thinking about using this in an article but would like to make sure it works.

Thanks!

Ok, I see this as learning in process. To learn you have to do something and here you've done something, and that's a good thing. Many will talk about exposure, contrast, the white background and yada yada yada, but I look first at the composition and style and I like it. But, yes, you need to work on exposure and contrast. Now, in my opinion, what would make THIS image really nice would be the model sans body art. The body art reduces the quality of the image... in my opinion. But I understand that's the current culture...got it. I've looked at this image and tried (in my mind) to remove the body art and when I do I like it. As I shared with you regarding your first image, nudes are hard, at least from an artistic perspective. So keep doing and learning. Awaiting attempt 3.

Hey Ron! Thanks for the feedback. I can't change the body art - which i actually like - but i do have control over exposure and contrast. When you say they need work, what specifically would you suggest? I am going to use the is an article about composition but i want the overall image to be successfull as well. Id love your input if there is something i can do.

I think I would try tweaking E/C just enough to bring out a little more detail. Not much! Just a little. Her head, face, and upper body are fine but the lower torso maybe just a little more.

I understand the body art. Have a friend, professional photographer, who shoots a lot of models and likes lots of body art. It works for him. Good work but just too much for my taste.
