I’ve always been fascinated with lighthouses in art. They have important symbolic meaning and real world value. Interior and exterior shots give a range of possibilities.
This one is inside the Key West lighthouse, first constructed in 1825.
I was surprised at how hard it was to get the right composition however. It took patience to ascend and descend to find the best balance of elements.
For this shot, I used my 10mm, ISO 100, 1/60, f 5.6.
Well, your tramping up & down was worth it, Chris. You nailed it! Beautiful rhythm and balance to the spirals of form, line and texture, and you processing does it justice. Good job!
Thank you very much, Chris. I deeply appreciate your words.
