I discovered this place when I was searching for a place to do astrophotography, as conditions were becoming will suited - both weather and moon position was ideal the coming weekend.
The place is in Sweeden, and I live in Denmark, about a 2 hour drive from the place.
I didn't visit it at that time, but a few weeks ago, I had a few days off from work, and I decided to visit Forsakar Nature Reserve in Sweden, and I decided to round the day off at this site. I was here at sunset, and although I decided for a BW treatment, the low sun did help getting some structure to the stones.
Wow!
:D
I love the dreamy atmosphere, beautiful! ❤
Thanks, glad to hear
a good frame
Thanks. I'm super happy with the composition here. I should just have panned the camera a tiny bit to the left for a slightly more balanced image.
I don't think this shot loses anything the way you set the frame. The touch of negative space on the right, accentuates the structure of the stone circle, which in turn, draws our minds to the incredible feat of engineering that took place here.
Thanks for the feedback. I will try be less harsh on myself
Nice composition, tones and treatment. Mono and the stone circle seems apt somehow.
