This would be a lot stronger if the model were looking directly into the lens. Eye contact makes a huge difference in the viewer’s reaction to an image. Also, if the light source were slightly lower, you’d get a nice glint of highlight in the eyes. It’s there now, but it’s almost hidden by the eyelids.
Hi Phillip. Appreciated. Good point about light and eye contact. Actually couple of days back was seeing few old time BW darkroom portraits. A Style then, subjects were looking away. can alway take all versions during the shoot which I missed this time. More I think, eye contact makes sense.
