I still need to get to a happy place with mono shots. They never feel like the right tonal balance. Anyhow, let me know where you would have tweaked / changed to get something more out of them.
1 pic, I can't see the subject here. This would be better, in my opinion, if every bult wherenin focus it would be more balanced, and less messy. Or just one really sharp and the rest, more unsharp.
Pic 2 and 3, the light should be more on the left side and not on top of that singel One to the right. That would give more dramatic shadows to the left and make the left side more of a subject. As of pic 1, I have a hard time to see the subject when the light is all over the place.
Thanks Gustaf, it was hand held and natural light but I get your point. The first one is more of a background stock item than a subject, it may have helped if I explained that in my notes.
