Great job, Gus! I agree with Goran. The image has a wonderful textural quality that reminds me of engravings and etchings, and their special qualities and beauty.
I'd have been tempted, like David to raise the exposure - but on seeing what you've done, I think the result would have been ordinary, whereas you've created something special here. You have to peer into the darkness to see the image, which doesn't reveal itself at a glance, and is so much the better for it.
Yeah, I totally agree with what Chris said. The picture looks more powerful like this. I can focus more on the textures and shapes this way, so there is no need to play with the exposure. Anyways, I've always been a fan of BW photography. I'm developing a small project now dedicated to our vintage aesthetic roots, and I've hired this self studio https://dollop.sg/black-and-white-self-studio for this purpose. Monochrome is the best way to convey the energy behind the camera (especially for portraits), and I can't wait to show you the final outcome.
I'd raise the exposure just a tiny bit, then print it!!
many thanks for your words, is and option, but my vision of this church is this, dark
Very symmetrical and harmonious, all praise.
many thanks, much appreciate
