Initial impressions of Sony A7R4 and 100-400GM lens.
Here are some recent photos I took with the new Sony A7R4 and the Sony 100-400 4.5-5.6 G Master lens. When Shooting wildlife and small birds, being able to crop is key, and the R4 is amazing. The 100-400 is amazing for a zoom. No CA and it is sharp to the edges. The cost of all those extra megapixels, however, is noise. Uncropped images look fine at up to about ISO1200. If you crop more than 50%, the images start turning to noisy crap above ISO400. Topaz Denois has been a lifesaver, but I suggest getting fast lenses to keep your ISO down. Thinking of getting an A9 for lower light shots. Has anyone else experienced this ISO issue with the R4?
