I really enjoy creating something different with drones. I've had the Mavic now for about four weeks and I absolutely love it.

Mixing Film and Night - New for Me
Here are a couple long exposure shots using my original 50 year old Minolta SR-T201 and kit lens shooting Fujifilm Neopan Acros 100 II. Both images were taken just at the end of blue hour.
An invitation

NIce work, Tim. The fact that you haven't used 100 focus-stacked images in the first (as seems to be de rigeur on FS today) to make it all sharp adds to the image for me. Judging by the first, you should definitely check out Micheal Kenna's "Rouge".
Your low-key tonality certainly gives the second image a powerful, brooding, even foreboding atmosphere for me. You wouldn't get ME going down THAT road! It goes to the badlands for sure. Scary!
Maybe I'm just used to your style after your recent post, Tim, but the dark tones and contrast really make the first image, while the overall dark tones suit the second, and I don't have the impulse to lighten either of these.
Good work! And you have an eye for composition. Let's see more from you.
Thank you!
in my opinion
Maybe that does tighten the composition, Vijay. I suspect I'd have tried compositional variations with a subject like this offering so many options to "carve out" of the scene. I lose myself spending hours at places like this, until I'm drained.
And content. Maybe I'm weird... ;-)
This was the reflection on the particular frame. This is the simpler story through my perception. There could be many more such scattered at the place. Each can be picked and then fine-tuned.
