I photographed these as I was driving through the farmlands of Alberta last weekend, looking for good composition (no sunrise colors that day). These two appealed to me during my two hours morning drive.
Somehow, the snow and absence of brilliant light make it monochromatic and minimalist by default.
I have a notification of a new post on here but when I click on it it tells I am not allowed to see the page. Would anyone know why that is? Seems strange to me.
I don't know if this is the male or the female, but we've had this nest of wood pigeons that we've been taking care of for the last few weeks.
I used Hasselblad X2D II 100C plus 75 3.4 P lens. The original shot was boring. I made it mono and then just used sliders to get whatever would result. This is it.
I had taken my wife to Jackson, Wyoming at Christmas time so that we could ride in a "One Horse Open Sleigh". Dog it was cold!
I must admit I have been lax in both my shooting and posting recently, perhaps due to the fact my wife has now retired, and we are spending a LOT more time together doing various activities.
