First environmental portrait

I recently bought a new flash unit and got an opportunity to test it at an assignment of a friend of mine.
One of the girls there was willing to pose for me in this old chair, that was stood there in a corner.
This is one of the first shots we managed to get.

I'd love to hear what you think. :)

I like the pose, composition, and model. Lighting on her forehead is a bit hot and lighting is fairly hard. Looks like you used a softbox but it is quite far from her. Also the angle the light is hitting legs is bringing out details and not in a good way. Bringing your softbox as close as possible to soften the light and get more wrap around. Also, use a reflector to soften the shadows. But overall pretty good.

I like the setting and the pose. Perhaps turn the set slightly so the angle of light from the flash would match the angle of light from the window.
As Brenden said, if you use a softbox close to soften the light a little.
