Athens photos
A few shots from the winter of 2025. The last one was inside of the Acropolis Museum. (Unfortunately, I could get everyone to walk exactly where I wanted them to. hahaha)

Focus Stacking ~ New to Me
I am interested in learning Macro/Closeup photography and understanding that Focus Bracketing is a good part of the process, I thought I would give focus stacking a try.
Vintage Lens
Another visit to our garden using a vintage lens (Canon FD 50mm f/1.4) on my Canon R5. NOTE: With this lens the minimum focusing distance is 18" at which point you have 1/4" depth of field.
Austin, Texas Blue Hour
Was down in Austin for a bit on a work trip. I've always heard how beautiful the skyline is from the river.
Was a little let down by the clouds, but what can I do!

I am no aviation photographer, but I work in aviation industry. Hence my love for the machines. I am a newbie in photography, but someday I would love to venture into aviation. I love them all. The second one is my favourite though. I would love it more with the nose undercarriage retracted or both the rear undercarriages extended. I understand they are not under your control. By the way, what gears and settings do you use to capture these fast birds?
If I remember properly for the F-22 shots I used the sigma 170-500 on my canon T6I although I also had a canon 7D with Tamron 70-300 SP with me. This year I’ll be using the new Tamron 100-400 and possibly the Tamron 70-200 g2 with 1.4 teleconverter
