So I wanted to get into underwater photography and video but I dont want to have to drop 2 grand on a housing just to get started so I wanted to see if anyone had some input on a more budget friendly option for getting my feet wet (pun intended). One option I was looking at was the cheaper housings for the sony mirrorless cameras. It seems they have things for the NEX series all the way up to the A7 series at affordable prices. One that really caught my eye was the housings for the Nex 5n as its a cheap camera, cheap housing, and it does decent stills and video.
Opinions on that and other options?
I would suggest to rent a underwater housing first.
