Here are a couple long exposure shots using my original 50 year old Minolta SR-T201 and kit lens shooting Fujifilm Neopan Acros 100 II. Both images were taken just at the end of blue hour.

I like it, maybe add some light bleed to the charcater.
Yeah, I kinda agree
Cool idea, one thing you wanna pay attention to is your lighting. If it's back lit his shadow should be coming towards the camera, it's not a big deal but it helps make things more believable if shadows match light sources.
It does actually have a shadow coming towards the viewer but it is kinda soft. I figured the light that is shining on him would over power the back light.
