First attempt at shooting self portrait

A composite of indoor and outdoor photos. Nikon d7000, 300mm , tri pod with timer and edited in photoshop with added textures. Comments and critiques welcomed and any tips on shooting self portraits (it's harder than I thought) is appreciated.

Hey Dana. This is pretty good. Need to invest in some shadows to your right. Get some more burning done on the bottom right of your foot and dress. I think, it'd help if you blurred some of the content (books in the foreground, trees in the background) enough to lend some depth. I really like the exposure and mood. The light bursts in the scene are magical. Great start! Great start!

Thank you for taking the time. Your comments are appreciated. I did struggle with the foot shadow for sure. Thanks again!

Josh Rossi has some great tutorials and guidance. I'd love to help out where I can too. Contact me any time.
