Blending/Composite Critique

Hey everyone, I'm relatively new to the community but I've been a fan of Fstoppers as I've grown through my photography and one of the main inspirations I've taken away from the content here has been my tentative foray into photo blended composites. That being said I don't really have a good forum to give me any pointers on the work I've made so far and I was hoping I could start here.
.
If you have any thoughts I'd love to hear them so let me know what you think/what I could be doing better. Thanks!

Hey, welcome and some beautiful work. I particularly like the colors of the first one, making the whole piece work together. I'm not real clear on what we're seeing reflected in the eye, but I like the overall feel of it. I like the drama of the second piece, but I get distracted by the appearance that there are clouds behind the moon and why it's being lit from two directions - but maybe it's no moon?

Thanks for the feedback Musing Eye ! I greatly appreciate it and yeah I see what you mean on both. For the first one it's a bluejay that's in the reflection but trying to strike that balance between having it look like a real reflection while still making it reasonably visible is a challenge in fact I think that's something I could even improve on, on the moon shot. By trying to ghost the clouds at the top of the moon over it a bit in order to keep that realism but also keep the same effect. That being said I never considered the lighting on the moon shot but that's why I'm posting here haha so thank you for that I'll keep that in mind on my next project, thanks!
