At the end of the outgoing year, I made a photoshoot for the Irkutsk barbershop Borodach. The guys turned out to be very friendly, and most importantly patient — the shooting lasted six hours (although taking into account the equipment settings and breaks, we actually shot less, of course). This is my favorite image from this photoshoot.
When I was shooting, I knew that I would have to deal with distortion from a wide-angle lens on a model in post-production.
My overall goal was to make the figure of the model to look normal, and the background behind him to have this fish-eye look.
Final image consists of 4 or 5 photos (background elements, mirror reflection, etc.).
Lighting Breakdown:
Godox AD600BM with shoot through umbrella (110 cm) in front of the subject as key light.
Godox TT600 with shoot through umbrella (110 cm) on the left side of the frame.
Godox TT600 (+ blue gel) with shoot through umbrella (85 cm) on the right side of the frame.
